Ambient marketing is about placing your brand somewhere and somehow people least expect it to capture their attention.

How

Think parking bollards turned into cigarette butts to promote a smoke-free environment or anti-smoking messages or footprints in the sand leading you to the travel agent to book your island holiday. We can use sight, sound, touch and smell to create highly effective campaigns.

How

Put your latest wiz-bang gadget in the hands of your target audience to 'experience' it; play your latest app game in an environment that makes them feel like they're there; set up a mock casino onsite as a lead up to a large casino sponsored event, or rub the Deep Heat on and strap up the ears before entering the stadium for a rugby game. We have NZ's only interactive washroom advertising screen. With a growing network across the country, these screens are installed in the men's washrooms in some of the country's top bars. An HD screen that plays video ads and RSS newsfeeds but then becomes a game console that the 'player' controls by directing their pee! Hugely engaging and incredibly innovative, these screens are proving to be an incredibly effective way of engaging men in a way that no other outdoor marketing platform can.

How

There are range of advertising opportunities with the screens. From video ads to in-game branding right through to custom built games. The games can be changed to suit your brand, or can be replaced with a quiz or a poll.

Sponsorship Activation

Purchasing the sponsorship rights in the easy bit. The bit that needs the work (and the investment) to make your sponsorship give you your returns is the activation. Activation involves utilising the 'property' you have sponsored and creating opportunities in and around it to bring your sponsorship to life.

How

This will depend on what you are looking to achieve from your sponsorship, but you might offer VIP parking for your key clients/customers to the sold out festival you've sponsored, provide samples or discount vouchers, shoot branded collateral into the crowd out of a t-shirt cannon (see our Cannon Hire options) or provide a free coffee and branded hand warmers for parents standing on the side lines of their children's winter sports that you have partnered with. Sponsorship activation may ultimately be experiential marketing for the sponsor as activations often involve an experience.
